It is essential to keep yourself positive during your search; negativity spills over into your interactions with potential employers and can sabotage your best efforts to obtain a job.
One of the best ways to keep yourself positive, to add new skills to your resume, or to just eliminate an employer’s fear that you have become stale after a lengthy period of unemployment is to volunteer. Pick an area that relates to your profession or something that you always have had a passion for and begin to reap the rewards.
