When the economy is rough we’re all affected in some way. Whether our hours got cut at work, that second job laid us off or we’re now unemployed, it is hard to get by from day to day. What’s even worse is when we don’t even see it coming. If you find yourself in this position and you’re looking for ways to help you get by on the little money you have saved, here are some tips.

Bills: Take a look at your monthly bills. Figure out which ones are the most expensive and look for ways to start saving money on them. Whether you need to cut back on your cable channels, your unlimited text messaging on your cell phone or your electric bill, there are ways to save. Be creative, cut back and keep in mind that you are looking to save money. » Read more: Finances: Ways to Save Money While You’re Unemployed
