The New England Job Show is an innovative, grass roots project engaged in assisting and supporting unemployed individuals manage a successful job search that leads to an employment offer. NEJS produces and disseminates quality educational information and new media services to help job seekers in the New England Region. Episodes (podcasts) include the “Job Show”, panel discussions, interviews with thought leaders regarding a variety of job seeking topics and issues, “ePitches”, (short “commercials” by individual job seekers to potential employers), and Landings (people who recently got a new job talk about how they did it). Topics for panel discussions or interviews relate to issues like: career assessment & transition, finances and insurance, job search tips, networking, personal branding, Linked In & Twitter, resumes, interviews, negotiation, laid off after 40, staying motivated, and state of the market.
NEJS’s twice monthly shows air on about 60 cable access stations in New England and are available on Comcast on Demand (Get Local, New England Shows, New England Job Show) and on our website http://nejs.org.
