I recently reviewed more than 50 LinkedIn Profiles from Sales Professionals across the United States to look for trends and best practices. This review uncovered two key observations: Many Sales Professionals are using the exact same language to describe their skills and experience and therefore are not differentiating themselves from other Sales Professionals.
I also found that the language in many sales profiles was basic, and used what I’ll call “worn out words and phrases”. These are words that you see time and time again and as a result they start to lose their power and meaning.
