Is this a new type of age discrimination – 2011 MBA required?

Homeless people have miserable living conditions.

The number of homeless people in America is on the rise. It’s something we all need to guard against because it’s an undesirable situation to say the least, and it’s affecting a demographic range that is well outside the norm of “the impoverished.” There are few things that will test your resourcefulness more than being without proper housing, so don’t let this happen to you. I know how challenging it can be from my own experience.

October Snow Storm No Treat

The October 29 snow storm in New England took all of us by surprise, first for the amount of snow we received and second the severity of the storm damage.  Many people  have been without power for most of the week including the volunteer New England Job Show staffers.

As of yesterday we were back on Twitter and Facebook.  Today articles will resume on the blog with links being posted on LinkedIn.

We hope that those who are still in the dark are back on the grid by the weekend.  Let’s hope that this early blast of winter is not a harbinger of things to come!
