“New England, a region especially hard-hit by the current economic slump, will play host soon to its first LaidOff Camp. The Attleboro/Providence LaidOff Camp is expected to draw several hundred job seekers from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and neighboring states.
LaidOff Camps are springing up around the country in response to the recession. The camps offer peer-to-peer learning, networking opportunities and motivational support for laid-off and unemployed workers. Previous LaidOff Camps have been held in Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami and New York.”
The MA/RI LaidOff camp will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm in North Attleboro, MA.
