To effectively use Twitter for marketing, without having to spend all your precious time on Twitter, you need to set up a strategy. An efficient strategy that builds your Twitter following will establishes you as an authority in your niche, and will effectively promote your product, service, business.

Marci, I'm really enjoying your contributions to the NEJS blog, great addition!

A few comments:
Business Quotes: I find these lazy. Sure, some folks will really feel strongly about one they sent out, but many seem to be tweeting from their "Quote of the Day" calendars! My advice: Use these sparingly.

RT: Take care in doing this too. I follow one person who virtually only RTs, and it's just too much. Worse yet, she is retweeting content I am already receiving. Yes, I feel an "unfollow" coming on. Be original, or be ignored! I know, easier said than done.

Keep up the good advice!
